Preschoolers

The Kids ‘R’ Kids curriculum for preschoolers provides children with an array of individual group activities.  Each week children will explore a theme through group time introductions and reviews, daily enrichments, and additions to each learning station.

Preschool children are beginning to prepare for the elementary school years.  As professionals, the teachers at Kids ‘R’ Kids provide a structured learning environment so each child will have a strong foundation.

Preschoolers like to learn new information and have the desire to master new tasks.  This curriculum includes a way of learning that is self-directed with help and encouragement from teachers.  Our preschool curriculum includes small group activities, literacy and writing, music, Spanish, emotional and social development, outdoor activities, daily enrichment activities to encourage imaginative and creative play, progress reports on child’s daily accomplishments and decision –making skills to support growing minds.  Throughout the day children will have an opportunity to explore the classroom’s learning stations which include, Blocks & Building Design, Dramatic Play, Library & Literature, Math & Table Activities, Music & Movement, Sand & Water, Science & Discovery, and Writing Exploration. Learning through play in these clearly defined areas of interest, promotes independence, fosters decision-making, and encourages hands-on involvement.  Kids ‘R’ Kids recognizes the importance of combining a well-designed curriculum with age-appropriate learning stations and understands how these two classroom components contribute to each child’s development.  Our goal is to equip your child for the challenges ahead.
